AS PART of the Science Festival 2013, AlSci students planted 141 trees along the banks of Molo river.
Molo river runs in the east side of the school campus.
In December 2008, the flooding Molo river overflowed in the bend and inundated the school campus.
Planting trees along the river is seen to strengthen the banks of the river and eventually protect the school from floodwater when heavy rains come.
Cabin leaders also expressed their commitment to continue working for the conservation of the environment. They sacrificed symbolic offerings for the environment.
“We have to be grateful to mother nature because we derive many of our needs from the environment. So we must take good care of the Earth,” Carlo Von Laoc, a cabin leader, said.
