A TOTAL of 139 students and 30 parents attended the first day of Alabel National Science High School’s Brigada Eskwela last May 20, 2013.

Students from different year levels for the upcoming school year 2013-2014 became one in helping with cleaning the school before the school year starts. Some also handed in cash donations.

ANSHS school principal Mrs. Norma P. Rendon said he was “overwhelmed that there were numerous people who participated even just in the first day”.

“I feel contented after helping clean up the school. What we did was also for our benefit, so I’m happy I helped,” Beatrice De Guzman, an incoming senior for the coming school year, mentioned.

The five-day Brigada Eskwela lasted from May 20-24, 2013, prior to the opening of the school year 2013-2014 this June 3.
